Completed Projects and Case Studies
I am proud of every project in my portfolio. I've tackled each with passion and determination, to not only deliver great visitor experiences, but also to drive huge increases in the goals and objectives my clients have for their websites.
Take a look, I think you'll like what you see.
An extension of the Porsche experience is the Porsche Club of America, better known as the PCA. It's a community where fellow enthusiast can enjoy the camaraderie of people who all share the same passion, Porsche's. But it's not just about the cars, it's the people too.
The PCA is divided into local regions and chapters, who actively engage in a variety of events - both socially and behind the wheel. The Sequoia region of the PCA covers one of the largest areas in California, so you would expect membership and event attendance to be high, right? Sadly that wasn't the case.
The original Sequoia PCA website was difficult to update, hard to use by anyone, and looked like something out of the 1990's. It wasn't a source for up to date information so active members had stopped using it. The club president knew the site was at least partially responsible for low event attendance, and had a pretty good hunch it was contributing to stagnant membership numbers.
The club needed a website that not only engaged their existing members, but also encouraged new membership by showcasing all the great things they were doing.
The website had to have a clean design, that was easy to read and use, on any type of device, by anyone, including those older Porsche owners (ha!). An event calendar that was easy to update by the committee, and a method to regularly notify their members was crucial if they were going to see any improvements in attendance, or new membership.
I think we accomplished that and more.
The built-in event calendar is a huge success. With it's super-simple interface committee members can add new events with ease. Recurring events only need to be added once, and can be set to repeat using several easy to use rules. The club uses this feature for their "Cars and Coffee" event held at the same location every month. All the important event details carry over, including the time, location with clickable map, and the event organizer's contact info (also clickable). There is even a one touch feature to keep the club calendar synchronized with your smart phone.
Using an email automation service; club events, newsletters, and website updates are sent out to members automatically. The president can easily see email subscribers, unsubscribes, open rates, and who's clicking on links in those emails.
Finally, Google Analytics tracks website visitor behavior, so the president has real data showing what pages on the site are most used.
The suggestions and feedback forms are used by members to submit anonymous feedback about events, and prospective members can get in touch with the club leaders to ask questions before joining.
Twelve months after the new website launched, the club has doubled participation to dinners, fund raisers, and most importantly the driving tours. Within twenty four months one-hundred (yes 100!) new members have joined the club. The Car's and Coffee parking lot has never been this full!
Only practiced by a handful of doctors across the nation, NeuroSoma Therapy is an extremely effective pain relieving treatment. Due to the incredible results patients receive the word is spreading, and every day thousands of people are looking for a place to be treated.
NeuroSoma Therapy of Fresno is one of these places, and they knew having a website was important, the problem was they didn't have one! Little did they know how many opportunities were missed because people couldn't find them online.
Prior to the site's launch most new patients came in the way of a personal referral. Sometimes calls would come in from people in pain, they'd ask the secretary questions, or would try and describe their symptoms, but ultimately they needed to talk with the doctor, who was busy treating other patients.
The practice needed a website that solved several problems. First, a way to provide basic information about NeuroSoma Therapy and how it could benefit those in pain. Second, provide key words and topics to search engines, so people could find them when searching online. Third, provide easy to access information about the practice, it's phone number, physical address, and details about the doctor doing the treatments. And fourth, an easy way for people to ask the doctor about their condition, get answers, and ultimately make an appointment to get treated.
After a rigorous exploration process here is what we came up with.
A clean design, one that is easy to read, and navigate on any device. It provides mobile friendly functionality such as; touch to dial, and touch to locate, activating the smartphone GPS app. There is a FAQ page, articles about the therapy, how pain works, and how the treatments provide lasting relief. There is also information about the doctor, and how to contact him directly with any questions specific to their condition.
Shortly after launching the website NeuroSoma Therapy of Fresno starting ranking well with search engines. Within a few short months it was on the first page of google for "NeuroSoma", and number two on the list of results, only lower to the longest practicing NeuroSoma therapist in world.
On average the website sees 500 new visitors every month, and more than half are on a mobile device.
Appointments are through the roof! The practice has hired, and trained, two additional therapists to keep up with the demand. New patients are coming in from all over the western part of the US. They've even had calls, and website inquiries from people over seas looking to get treatments.
